    Lynn Kim Do

Lynn Kim Do may be the first fashionista to define and coin the term Neckbreakin’ Style but she is certainly not the only person that this term encompasses. Lynn takes inspiration from the street, from the mundane and thus her extraordinary everyday experiences, and presents it rawly along with visuals and personal style. This is a platform beyond personal style. It is a space of personal experiences. Lynn Do creates a platform that curates her very honest, sometimes too honest, stories called "Street Talk" with style that is also uniquely raw. Having footprints all over the United States, her view of fashion can not be defined by one location or even one style except one - streetwear. She believes in minimal and clean streetwear without losing all the attitude and sass with it. Her visual and production expertise has accumulated many highly recognized repertoire of projects with clients like Revlon and Urban Outfitters. She has been featured on Nylon.com, The New York Times, and WWD to name a few. If you ask her though, her biggest personal achievement is surviving a year lease in a six floor walk-up NYC apartment.

    #PERFECTPAIR | Aldo A-List Shopping Event

"Twinning in boyfriend jeans, white tops, and flesh tone outerwear, we looked like sole-mates in the Grandora loafers. That pun was also too good to leave out. Okay, I promise that "sole-mate" will be the last pun this time. "

Aldo Shoes is running this brilliant campaign with the most clever hashtag - #PerfectPair.  I'm convinced that great things come in pairs! When I hear "perfect pair," my mind wandered to an image  of a perfect pair of friends, a perfect pair of jeans, a perfect pair of socks, and a perfect pair of shoes. And when you find the perfect pair of shoes, you hold on to it for dear life until it can't support you anymore. A talking sole is not cute. Haven't even thought about how the double strap monk shoes also plays upon this pair pun, I picked these burgundy beauties up. I instantly grew so fond of them. I'm so glad that the double strap monk loafers inspired generally reserved for men are making a gender jump. The patent and gold are simple nuances that keeps this style current.

If Mai from Little Mai Sunshine didn't wear half a size smaller than me, she may never see the black ones again. Twinning in boyfriend jeans, white tops, and flesh tone outerwear, we looked like sole-mates in the Grandora loafers. That pun was also too good to leave out. Okay, I promise that "sole-mate" will be the last pun this time. We may have coordinated for the evening but our personal style are never sacrificed. You can always take a concept and still make it original to you. These flats speak louder than just a modern earthy compliment or a rocker-boyish add-on. Yet, they are just that. They are lovely extensions of your outfit, all the pieces gracefully placed together to complete your thread work. What's so great about the Grandora is that I can think about a handful of other looks hat can be accomplished with these loafers. Visit Little Mai Sunshine to find details to her outfit!

Beyond my obsession with these, I want to also invite you to join me for the Aldo A-List Personal Shopping Event hosted by Neckbreakin' Style's very own - me. This is special to me in several ways. If you have had known me during my high school and college career, you would have known that my first job before I entered the PR industry lied at Aldo Shoes in Menlo Park Mall. Fast forward to plenty of years later to specifically Sunday, September 28, 2014, I will have the opportunity to go back in time with arms and pockets wide open for an exclusive shopping event. I can't wait to see some old faces, new faces, past clients, fans, friends, and family. They have impacted me then and have grown to be Neckbreakin' supporters and even old friends.

From 8pm - 10pm, I will be styling and helping you find your #perfectpair even be matchmaker (just kidding, sorta). Everyone will enjoy 15% on all Aldo merchandise. There will be delicious grapefruit beer sponsored by Schofferhofer and perfect sweets by Jersey Cookie Girl. Several gift cards will be raffled. RSVP at jatonbrady.aldo@gmail.com because the first 30 people will receive swag bags with goodies.
