We All Need JEESUS

"Can we all agree that we're all in a search for something? Anything. Just to fill that void in the pit of your stomach. Perhaps, it's a dream, a universal truth, an everlasting love, or just one more piece of cake (hey, whatever floats your boat). "

Can we all agree that we're all in a search for something? Anything. Just to fill that void in the pit of your stomach. Perhaps, it's a dream, a universal truth, an everlasting love, or just one more piece of cake (hey, whatever floats your boat).

And we all search for it in many different ways. Sometimes, people try to find the answer to their void in other people. Others find other ways, like traveling all around the world, hitting the bottom of a bottle, meditation, art, religion, sex...

So this leads me back this this question and now statement- we're all searching for something through different or similar means. We all have something in common, then? To that, I only have one comment. "The answer is in yourself." You are the god you're searching for. You are the only one capable of filling up that void because you gave whatever it is you want meaning. You assigned it. It's you, in the end, that gave it power. So you, yourself, can find the answer and soil you're searching for. I know what you're thinking, "Lynn, what a vague and simple answer to such a complicated one." And you're probably right. But it's a beginning, a spark to my own personal search for my personal legend and fulfillment. I hope this helps you, too.

Ironically or not, to me JEESUS stands for exactly who I look to for answers - me. And to you - you. At least, that's what I feel and really that's all that matters. Conveniently, I'm also in a simple outfit with this great tee by Threadworkshop. I pretty much live in their clothes. They make it quite easy, though. Live your art, am I right?
